Web Application Developer at The Moonshine Lab
Our fast-growing team is looking for a web/software application developer to help conceive, plan and deliver on MVP development (and ultimately more polished iterations) for The Distillery’s Moonshine Lab start-up and client projects. We are based in Adelaide (Kent Town), with projects all over Australia and some further afield, and use a mixture of fee-for-service and sweat equity to deliver world class products for founding teams and corporate clients.
You’ll be good playing around with some or all of this kind of tech:
- Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP
- )pen source CMS platforms (Drupal, WP)
- eCommerce platforms like Magento and WooCommerce
- Symfony2 (twig layouts), PHPUnit, Selenium via SauceLabs, RabbitMQ
- Mercurial, bitbucket, Jira, GIT
- Apache, AWS and server config
- Phonegap, Air, iOS, Android
- API development, integrations, documentation
If you have experience in working with custom PHP applications, are good at API integrations, version control and have strong scripting skills, we would like to hear from you. Automated testing and SaaS project experience would be looked upon favourably, as would mobile web/app development and experience in a start-up development team or digital agency.
This is a mid-weight role, so we’re expecting circa 3-5 years experience and is probably not suitable for graduates unless you can demonstrate a bunch of real-life experience gained in parallel to your study. Salary can be negotiated based on experience and we want you here in Adelaide as part of the team – no remote applicants please and if you don’t have the skills to meet the brief you’ll please forgive us for not replying to all applications. Full time is preferred but we would consider part-time for the right applicant or those entrepreneurial souls who are burning the midnight oil with their own project – you just might miss out on Friday beers. And the Thursday ones.
CVs should be forwarded in confidence to email@example.com. The short-listed candidates will be contacted immediately and interviewed within two weeks.
