< / h 1 >We have been busy at the Distillery working with OTR on some pretty cool new features for the OTR App.
Launching with the ability to pre-order your coffee and earn rewards, and later being able to pay for your fuel on the app at the pump, OTR are continually improving and innovating in the convenience sector.
The latest iteration saw the launch ‘Click and Collect’ – giving consumers the ability to click and collect via the app from across a number of brands within the OTR stable such as Oporto, Subway, Moe’s, Wok in a Box, OTR Supermarket and more! So just pre-order your coffee, breakfast, a snack, that milk and bread you’ve run out of and simply collect it on your way past.
In keeping with OTR’s ‘making life easy’ mantra this latest iteration also includes Pay at Pump. The new Pay at Pump feature allows OTR app customers to pay for their fuel, directly from within the OTR app. Using beacon technology the app will recognise which OTR location you are at and connect you to with the available pumps. Once you’ve filled up, the app will provide you with a payment confirmation screen for you to pay and be on your merry way!
Sounds pretty simple, but this project has really pushed the boundaries with integration into retail systems and loyalty programs, beacon and GPS detection technology as well as wrangling a number of different brands into a seamless user experience.
We are really proud of this project and are looking forward to working with OTR to continue to push the boundaries to truly deliver on the OTR brand promise of ‘making life easy’.
